Little known fact, I own two homes. Technically I own one home and my wife owns the other but we’re working on refinancing the old one so we can tear it down because it’s a shithole.

However it has a nice garage. And while we have this garage, we use it for storage. I have some of my extra stuff there in tubs, we’ve got some extra yard equipment, generally stuff we don’t have room for but don’t want to pay for mini storage. Makes sense.

This morning I was organizing some of my old stuff from my parent’s house at our current house. By organizing I mean “getting rid of”. I went out when I was done, recycled some magazines and comics, then went by the old house to drop off my KVM and a modem I had dug out.

Enter the garage… oops, I left a tub out of the stack in the middle of the floor…. wait, there are open tubs… SOMEONE HAS BEEN THROUGH MY STUFF.

I checked over the open tubs. Nothing seems to be missing in the electronics dump box, there’s an empty shoe box with contents that I can’t remember… there’s another shoebox full of olf pay stubs that’s sitting open. Wait, the stck seems a little short.

I’m missing some tubs, three at least I can think of, maybe four. Glancing around, the tiller is also gone as is my sister in law’s coffee table.

Thanks tot he considerate actions of someone who will die a slow agonizing death when I track him down (and I will), I am now short almost all of my Marvel Legends, Lord of the Rings, 12″ Figures, and a lot of miscellaneous figures.

Thankfully all of my Transformers are at the house we live in. Also thankfully I recently brought my tub of 3 3/4″ Star Wars figures to work for some random photography. Thankfully I also dug out some of my buried favorites a few months ago.

Still I’m really pissed about the loss of those Lord of the Rungs figures. I was actually planning on selling a lot of the Marvel figures soon but those Lord of the Rings guys were just kind of chilling until I got around to putting up more shelving.

Anyway, tomorrow I’m going to call around to some of the pawn shops in the area and I’ll be keeping an eye out anytime I’m in the area for my tiller sitting on someone’s backyard.

when I find out who did this they will wish they would have also stolen the old wheelchair in the garage.
